The man, Pierre Laval, who confiscate the original 1950 film died in 1946...

As far as I can tell, Pierre Laval did not confiscate the film personally; rather, a decree by him allowed police to confiscate it.

It seems like Afrique 50 was made in 1950, but released in 1956. I've changed that in the article. Hue Sat Lum 21:23, 17 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
