The name[edit]

I see that monster of a name in at least one source, but never like mixtures of German and English. Additionally: "Erntedank" is simply "Thanksgiving", normally, not "Harvest Thanksgiving". "Festival" is not "Fest", normally, rather feast. It seems almost easier to write on the original German term and explain it once. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:17, 1 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Gerda Arendt keeping with WP:ENGLISH, what would be the best name? I'll propose a move.--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 02:01, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Reich Thanksgiving. I'd still prefer Reichserntedankfest, translated and explained in the article. We have many German names when a translation makes something ambiguous. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:24, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
