Promotion of artificial intelligence[edit]

Re "The regulation of artificial intelligence (AI) is the development of public sector policies and laws for promoting and regulating artificial intelligence (AI) and is therefore a subset of the broader regulation of algorithms.": "Subset" seems problematic, since governments often promote artificial intelligence R&D, without necessarily promoting research into algorithms per se.
