Worldwide View[edit]

I am not sure what to do about the Worldwide tag on this page. Clearly the article is about specific bodies set up under the Water Act 1973 in England and Wales. Similarly, the stubs proclaim it to be an article about Wales and the politics of England. There is never going to be a world wide view of this subject, but my fear is that it will become a repository for information about vaguely similar bodies elsewhere. Does it need to be moved to Regional Water Authority (England and Wales), or something similar? Bob1960evens (talk) 21:11, 2 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The tag was put on by NE2 with the edit summary these are in Florida too - only they aren't in Florida. NE2 may have had in mind bodies such as South Florida Water Management District which is not a Regional Water Authority. Having flagged the issue, NE2 should have noted the issue on the talk page which wasn't done. I am therefore removing the flag as unwarranted.  Velella  Velella Talk   22:06, 2 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Ahem. --NE2 23:55, 2 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I have had a look through the stuff that google throws up, and the only organisation that is truly called a Regional Water Authority seems to be the Nature Coast Regional Water Authority. As far as I can see, they are only interested in water supply and sewage disposal, based on their constitution. Are there any other organisations, and are there any sources about them?
