Please do not remove the page! Why should it be removed?--Chuckeh 13:35, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

For an article to exist, it must demonstrate notability - this is normally shown by links to articles from news sources such as newspapers, magazines etc - a list of suitable sources can be found at WP:RS - blogs, fansite and forums do not cut it. If you cannot provide reliable sources, this article will be deleted. --Fredrick day 13:40, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, give me about 2 hours and I will give you all the infos you needed. But please do not remove it before. Thanks in advance.--Chuckeh 13:47, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! You can see a list of that on our press page. Let me explain a bit of it:

As you can see, we had articles on one of the biggest german newspapers/magazines. Also we are listed on all the big radio guides of one of the most used media players in the world today. Just open iTunes Radio and go to international or the other genres. Or search for RauteMusik on Windows Media Guide.

RauteMusik (also RM or #Musik) is Germany's biggest internetradio station with worldwide receiption possibility[citation needed] --> Internetradios do all have that possibility to get tuned in from all over the world.

The station is mostly organized by young grown-ups and has about 200 honorary workers[citation needed]. --> You can see all the team members here

RauteMusik was found on 20. April 2003 with just one main-stream[citation needed]. --> Thats a fact. The streams were opened on the following dates. (german copy - Gründung or Eröffnung means that we started that stream)

  • 07. Dezember 2003 - Eröffnung des Spartensenders #Musik.JaM zur Auslagerung der Genres HipHop und R'n'B
  • 12. Juli 2004 - Eröffnung des Spartensenders #Musik.FunkY (House, Electro)
  • 06. April 2005 - Übernahme des Radios RapKings. Eröffnung von #Musik.Raw (deutscher u. internationaler Untergrund-Rap)
  • 23. April 2005 - Übernahme des Radios Radio42. Eröffnung von #Musik.Lounge (Chillout, Ambient, NuJazz, Downtempo); Schließung von #Musik.EvenT
  • 10. Mai 2006 - Eröffnung des Spartensenders #Musik.Goldies (60s, 70s, 80s, Oldies)
  • 10. Mai 2006 - Eröffnung des Spartensenders #Musik.Oriental (orientalische und arabische Musik)

In the following 4 years RauteMusik was established as one of Europes biggest internet radio stations[citation needed]. --> Just go to shoutcast.com and search for europe internetradio stations and then go to that page. As you can see, there are a lot of listeners.

That should show you the relevance, or?--Chuckeh 15:29, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

References[edit]

The two references added don't seem to establish notability - the first seems to be a review of the station and the second seems to be a blog entry/Press release? --Fredrick day 16:34, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, they confirm existence, however that's about all. Addhoc 16:49, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
What about these two articles? The one on "Der Spiegel" and the second one on "Der Stern" here and here?--Chuckeh 16:51, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Incidental reporting mentioning the station as one of many. The actual reporting was about the change in the law re licensing costs. Agathoclea 07:33, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Removed speedy delete tag[edit]

I've removed the speedy tag, because the article asserts notability. However, the current version would probably not survive at articles for deletion. Accordingly, I would suggest redirecting to Internet radio and merging any verifiable content. Addhoc 16:47, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
