Why are you deleting history of background in SUF and political viewpoints? This is facts in Swedish language Wikipedia.83.183.120.136 (talk) 16:50, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nationalvänstern[edit]

The paragraph starting "Fleischer founded the term 'national left'..." must seem confusing to non-Swedish readers. I wish I knew how to rewrite it. Rasmus Fleischer wrote an article "Nationalvänstern - så funkar den" in early 2004, which apparently gave him enemies among parts of the political left in Sweden. As he has later gone on to write articles (on copyright) for right-wing think-tanks such as Swedish Timbro and U.S. Cato Institute, more of the Swedish political left are bound to feel betrayed. A bit of desillusion shines through in this paragraph of text (as in: how could he? we thought he was one of us!). I wouldn't call it "POV" as much as a lack of distance and perspective. Unfortunately, the website of the magazine Arena that published Fleischer's 2004 article seems to be broken (or recently rebuilt) at the moment. --LA2 (talk) 21:18, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have erased the part about "coining" the term "national left", because it is actually not true – other writers in the magazine Arena hade used it before Fleischer was asked to write that piece. Also, it was only referenced with a footnote to a page at Swedish Wikipedia, which does not seem to be enought. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Julmust (talkcontribs) 22:30, 1 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! That gave me the opportunity to rewrite it entirely, and I think my current contribution is neutral, factual and relevant. If you want to discuss this, you know how to reach me. --LA2 (talk) 07:18, 13 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
