Delete => The oil from the reservoir was soon drained and the region's oil boom went bust the J.H. McCleskey No. 1 oil well was abandoned on May 30, 1930.

Add => The gas driving the oil from the reservoir to the surface was soon depleted and the oil hasn't been commercially producible since the gas was depleted. The region's oil boom went bust and the J.H. McCleskey No. 1 oil well was abandoned on May 30, 1930.

These facts are well known to experienced oil & gas industry veterans at the time and into the 1970's.

This EDIT needs to be rewritten to reflect these corrections while meeting Wikipedia standards.
