Rama Nand → [[{{{1}}}]] – The old page naming "Rama Nand" dont have the correct wordings as well as some wrong information relating to attack as the attack happened in Guru Ravidass Temple rather than Nanaksar Temple. Such wrong information creates confusion rather needed to be avoided. Also the name "Rama Nand" gives a wrong impression to holy saints so a bit of respect needs to be given by naming "Sant Rama Nand Ji"

I have created this page due to this man's murder in 2009 in Vienna, and the ensuing riots.[edit]

I seems a shame if his only mentions in Wikipedia were related to his death, so I hope the article will be expanded by interested editors.- sinneed (talk) 21:45, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have created this page due to this man's murder in 2009 in Vienna, and the ensuing riots.[edit]

Its a huge shame that sikh editors who come and edit a page of a great man of Ravidassia Religion who has been killed are not even caring to give him respect rather edit with some false information about him for an example its mentioned that attack happened in Nanaksar Gurudwara rather than Sir Guru Ravidass Sabha. Sabha is regarded as temple. So i suggest either the deletion of a page or merging of it with already created a better page Sant Rama Nand Ji. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Superiorfaither (talkcontribs) 12:02, 22 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The page needs to continue to develop on the basis of the original, older page, i.e. the one currently at Rama Nand. This is a very strict principle in Wikipedia. If the content of that page is not ideal, please correct the content there. If you think the page should be at a different title, then please make a proposal for a page move WP:RM. What you can't do is to just copy over the content to a new location, as you did when you created Sant Rama Nand Ji back in 2010. That page must be turned into a redirect again. Please don't revert this change another time; if you do, I'd have to block you from editing. Fut.Perf. 14:57, 22 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Another thing: about the title, we have guidelines for our naming practices in cases like this. We keep articles at the simple name of a person. I understand that "Rama Nand" is the name proper, and "Sant ... Ji" is a religious honorific, right? In that case, the honorific should be mentioned in the lead of the article, but it should not be in the article title. Fut.Perf. 15:05, 22 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please mention the policy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.252.127.148 (talk) 15:15, 22 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

MOS:HONORIFIC. Fut.Perf. 15:21, 22 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sant word is itself a title rather than Honorific as claimed Ji word is a honorific and you can ignore it in title but Sant word could not be avoided as word SANT is like POPE. Another thing is his name is SANT RAMANAND DASS not RAMA NAND as claimed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.252.127.148 (talk) 15:25, 22 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Fine. Provide a bit of documentation of how reliable sources refer to this person, then propose a renaming. Just don't try to move the page again by copying over its contents to the other page. It will have to be done by an admin. Fut.Perf. 15:34, 22 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ok i am mentioning here two official websites of Dera Sach Khand Ballan organisation http://sachkhandballan.net/ & http://www.derasachkhandballan.com/ and the third one is http://www.gururavidassguruji.com/ which is the official website representing Ravidassia Community. Now tell me where the Sant word is not mentioned? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.252.127.148 (talk) 15:41, 22 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
