Totally incorrect: "More recently, the Radbruch formula reappeared in trials against East German soldiers, ordered to protect the inner-German border."

East German border guards role was not protecting East Germany from onslaught of West Germans trying to "escape" to Communist "paradise" East Germany. Their job was preventing East Germans who desperatately wanted freedom from escaping Communist hell. Often thed guards shot and killed those seeking freedom.

I corrected the statement "More recently, the Radbruch formula reappeared in trials against East German soldiers, ordered to protect the inner-German border." to "More recently, the Radbruch formula reappeared in trials against East German soldiers, ordered to prevent escape to West Germany by those seeking freedom across the inner-German border and shoot them."

"Errantios" reverted the post by the following justification "Unencylopedic language" which I surely don't undetrstand. How indeed was my post "unencyclopaedic"?

Hopefully someone else (maybe "Errantios") can correct my posted sentence in a more suitable "encyclopaedic" language while telling the truth. Emesz (talk) 18:40, 5 February 2023 (UTC)

The existing phrasing was misleading and I did not intend to support it. I have now rephrased the whole paragraph and added references. Errantios (talk) 23:01, 5 February 2023 (UTC)

How was the phrasing misleading?

East German border guards often shot those trying to escape. Most publicied in the free West were the killings of freedom seekers from East Berlin. The guards didn't shot at personal initiative; it was part of that evil system.
