New article that was moved to mainspace on 10 September 2022 is 6,355 characters and nominated on the same day. No copyvios detected (AGF sources which can't go through Dup detector, such as the ones in Chinese). Article is well-sourced. Main hook is 72 characters long (ALT1 is 108 and ALT2 is 120); all three are under 200 character max. and are interesting. AGF refs 30–31 (verifying the main hook), as well as 16 (verifying ALT1) and 20 (verifying ALT2), which are all in Chinese. QPQ done. Clarification needed[edit]
The "Composition" section says: Leung stated in 1991 that he believed there would be a "more restrictive creative environment" by 1997, so it was important to "write [the song] now...and hope that people still remember it in seven years [sic]".
I was curious about the sic, so I looked through the history and found that before this edit, the quote read: "write [the song] now...and hope that people still remember it [in seven years]"

- @Sojourner in the earth: Looking back at the cited video, I think I misquoted him a bit. Leung actually says something like, "In seven years, there may be a more restrictive creative environment, so the song was written now. I especially hope that the people then will remember it, and make comparisons, using [the song] as a historical witness". (see 18:17 of this video, which is the full TV program) The [sic] was originally used to note that he incorrectly said that 1997 was seven years away when it was actually six, though I also realize now that he may have just been referring to the years after '97, so the [sic] isn't really necessary after all.
