Deletion of references[edit]

User:Lauren_at_Purcell has deleted two references to assertions made in the article without explanation. In my view, references provide substantiation for information included in Wikipedia articles. Without reliable sources, the section about acquisitions could be deleted. I propose to reinstate the references, but to make the other minor factual changes included in the same edit session.
