Great job of article expansion. Possible DYK nomination here:

(DYK... that the Satish Dhawan Space Centre near the shore of Pulicat Lake Bird Sanctuary is very near the launch site of India's successful first Lunar space mission, the Chandrayaan-1 Moon Impact Probe?)
