I translated this from the German page (link above) using google translate. Overall the text was straightforward but hopefully others can improve.

Clarity on this sentence would be helpful:

"In winter, ice skaters and stick shooters gather on the frozen surface of the water to spend their leisure time together."

Is "stick shooters" referring to hockey, or maybe Ice stock sport?
