Cleanup[edit]

Well, somebody is going to have to find those references again, since the deleted page, Pseudomonas flourescens, that they apparently came from, does not seem to be preserved. - Samsara contrib talk 20:37, 18 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pseudo? Monads?[edit]

It was good to see the etymology discussion in a related article, I forget now which one, but it still wasn't clear, so I was glad to see the link to this article.

Are monads one-celled organisms? Do they have a (flagellated or otherwise) foot?

Do pseudomonads, originally thought to have this foot, not have it? Or, do they look the same as monads, but without the foot?

I just want to know why they're called pseudomonads.

Thanks very much for any help anyone can give!!!
