Plot

I removed the whole plot paragraph. I was going to clean up the various problems with missing words and inconsistent tense. But then I got the end and it isn't even really a correct synopsis. No mention of Turner's character being a hit person. Doesn't even finsh the story. Unfortunately, I haven't seen the film in ages. If someone else could do a proper job on this, it would be appreciated. The original text is below. PerlKnitter (talk) 18:07, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

The film begins at the wedding of the granddaughter of Don Corrodo, the elderly, frail boss of the Prizzi family in Brooklyn and he is played by William Hickey. During the wedding, Charley Partanna, a dimwitted hit man played by Jack Nicholson spots a beautiful blonde, played by Kathleen Turner, and asks a photographer to get information on the blonde. Then during the party, Charley spots the blonde and asks her to dance with him, it revealed that the blonde's name is Irene Walker, a Polish tax consultant. Then Irene got a call and she left Charley while dancing. As Charley was looking for Irene, Charley bumps into his old girlfriend, Maerose Prizzi, played by John Huston's daughter, Anjelica Huston granddaughter of Don Corrado. Maerose has left her family and her family claims that she is dishonoring her family, the only one that feels comfortable is with Charley.

After the wedding, Charley returns home and he is still thinking about Irene, while thinking about her, two detectives came to his apartment and said that someone has whacked a guy named Sal Netturbino, and they got Charley downtown. Then Charley's father, Angelo Partanna, close of Don Corrado, played by John Randolph, bailed Charley out of prison and Angelo claimed that the Prizzi hired an outside assassin to clean out Sal. Then Charley returned to his home again and tried to find out where Irene went. Then Irene called Charley, and Charley asks her for a date but she said she's out in Los Angeles, then Charley said that he can come to Los Angeles and take her and she agrees.

Then Charley and Irene meet each in a bar and they make small talk, but they fall for each other. Charley then gets a call from the Prizzi's back in Brooklyn, that they need to whack a guy named Marxie Heller, that cheated the Prizzi's out of $720,000, so Charley goes to Los Angeles to clean out Heller. Then after whacking Heller, Charley waited for Heller's wife, then once Heller's wife came and the wife was none-other then Irene Walker.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith

Mr. and Mrs. Smith (2005 film) is NOT a remake of Prizzi's Honor. The films have to completely different concepts. The Internet Movie Database states the contrary, but the info was user-submitted and is, in fact, completely wrong. (Sugar Bear 01:39, 25 May 2006 (UTC))
