Title[edit]

I didn't want to start an edit war, so I had to open this thread. @G S Palmer: This is the more common Japanese title is not a valid reason either to change the incipit. You didn't find any source to prove the title can be read in both ways, so "プリズンスクール" in the logo (or the official sites) are just ruby characters that indicate the one and only way to pronounce the kanji (監獄学園). Hope this is clear now,--Sakretsu (talk) 18:03, 25 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Seconded. Gabriel Yuji (talk) 20:02, 25 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I believe Young Magazine employs the magazine listing as a P phonetic not a K phonetic as defined in the common Japanese alphabetical order (wildly different to the English). Also, <> markings are used to show that the kana is the only valid way to read it. The usage Kangoku Gakuen is erroneously used by many illegal manga scanlation aggregators but they have no say as to what the actual romaji is. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Speeditor (talkcontribs) 16:55, 17 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Originality ensurance[edit]

I hope this page remains original in future. please cite all your content and continue working to ensure that this page remains original and does not source its content from the Prison School Wiki, my main work online collaborating with others under the name Speedit.

I am also happy to submit original content to this article by any means. =D Speeditor (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 18:10, 17 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Some anon has scraped the wiki and another site, I have completed the copyediting to ensure its original but please monitor the content added. Multiple phrases about things like "Jo's frail constitution" and "Chairman's sympathetic behaviour" were lifted from Prison School Wiki & MyAnimeList with other users editing afterwards to revert some edits to the genre field. If the genres are more important than this, then this probably shows a failure of policing rules WP:PLAG (content is not original) and WP:NPOV (neither is the content edited to be fully neutral as a priori.) Speeditor (talk) 20:34, 30 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Just to point out, reverting changes to the genres is obvious, plagiarism is not, so you can't really expect everyone to see it for what it is unless they compare edits to other websites, and that is generally not done unless it is glaringly obvious (like when whole plot sections are copy/pasted from somewhere).-- 21:13, 30 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I guess you're right. I'm willing to help out and keep close track of stuff regardless, but I guess you can't really control what people submit, @Juhachi: and that it is actually not very obvious as you said (unless you happen to remember typing the content up elswehere a month back).

Further/Full information[edit]

The Title is 監獄学園 and ruby on the cover as プリズンスクール, but this is not the way to read 監獄学園. 監獄学園 is read as かんごくがくえん (or kangoku gakuen) It would be best to provide the information correctly to people, rather than how it's displayed. [Prison School (Japanese: 監獄学園(かんごくがくえん), Hepburn: kangoku gakuen) also Purizun Sukūru (Japanese: プリズンスクール(ぷりずんすくうる))]. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Crawlin (talkcontribs) 22:10, 2 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I added it in as a footnote, which is more than sufficient.-- 22:10, 2 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
