Consent to prosecution in NI[edit]

Article said consent of A-G necessary, but the Act does not say this.

Also think DPP has power to discontinue investigation anyway.James500 (talk) 13:48, 14 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Repeal[edit]

I've removed the line that says the act has been repealed, for three reasons:

  • The infobox has the act's status as 'amended',
  • The Bribery Act 2010 repeals all previous statues referring to bribery, but this act covers more than just bribery, and
  • In today's news, the police are planning to act under this law; Scotland Yard wouldn't be arresting people under this law if it had been repealed.
