Books by Prabir Ghosh[edit]

There is currently just a long, incorrectly formatted list in this section. We need a source that he wrote these books - http://humanists.net/avijit/prabir/sra.htm lists the books, but doesn't explicitly say that he wrote them. And even if he wrote them, this long list with copied descriptions is not appropriate to an encyclopedia (better to give a link).

Some of the books are listed at http://www.mukto-mona.com/link/book.htm credited to Ghosh - but it's a partial list and appears to be copied from the humanists.net page above. --Singkong2005 talk 12:40, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the bulk of the books, re-formatted the section into a more standard list and removed the tag. Michaelbusch 00:06, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Nothing is supernatural? Everything is Supernatural. What we cannot experience we term as "Supernatural". How does a huge banyan tree reside in a small seed? Think deeply, think philosophically.-59.95.22.151 (talk) 18:22, 18 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Can I add some books of prabir Ghosh? === And what documents need to add this books? Pkonar (talk) 01:09, 30 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV Biography[edit]

This section seems overly laudatory. He may be a great guy, but his biography needs to be less praise for him than information about him. 35.11.78.96 03:03, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Concur. It currently reads like a letter of reference. Michaelbusch 16:21, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A definite peacock problem here with statements like, "With this knowledge of the human mind, his keen sense of politics gives him an insight and a rare understanding of all human problems." Needs a good scrub but if you remove all the extraneous stuff, there's little left.

Not only did the biography have peacock problems, it had apparently been copied verbatim from here, so I removed it entirely. — Elembis 23:41, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

To add a link under the See Also heading to the web page for the television documentary Gurubusters, to which Prabir Ghosh was a major contributor in 1994. Prabir Ghosh appears in the third clip on the web page, which features Rationalists from Kolkata campaigning against quacks and fraudulent remedies for snake bite. The link is: http://www.eagletv.co.uk/projects/guru-busters.html Roberte207 (talk) 08:44, 27 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not done per WP:EL (and this would go under External links rather than See also anyway). –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 15:58, 27 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
