Binomial Authority[edit]

Does anyone know where to find the binomial authority for the taxobox? Tevonic (talk) 03:59, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Only White Mountains of New Hampshire?[edit]

The claim that it is found only in the White Mountains of New Hampshire seems wrong. This source or this one (sorry it is in swedish) claim its presence in Sweden/Greenland/Svalbard/Siberia... Silverkey (talk) 06:09, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I can't be certain, since I don't speak Swedish, but perhaps these are references to Potentilla hyparctica, sometimes treated in the past as a subspecies of P.&bnbsp;robbinsiana? See [2]. Choess (talk) 12:22, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it is indeed Potentilla hyparctica which is described for example in the swedish page as an old name for Potentilla robbinsiana. So this means that this is a mistake and that these are 2 distinct species? Silverkey (talk) 20:00, 17 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
As far as I can tell, yes. The link in the Swedish article has broken, but if you search that site (http://www.artfakta.se/) you'll find that the species is listed under the name "Potentilla hyparctica". Choess (talk) 00:34, 18 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
