Name[edit]

The literal translation of the name of this party is actually "The Polish Socialist Party of the Prussian Partition", rather than "in Prussia" - the difference in wording is not an accident as this formulation was meant to emphasize that they weren't just socialist but also pro-Polish independence (since there were some "Polish socialist" parties that were "internationalists" to the point of not being concerned about Polish independence). I don't know under what name they are usually listed in English lang literature but the full name should probably be at least mentioned in the text. Volunteer Marek  14:13, 21 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You're right, this is the correct translation of the Polish name. You should move the article and edit it. There probably aren't too many English sources, so we should go with the technically correct name. (This leaves the German translation as wrong, I think, as "in Preußen" just means "in Prussia" (I think; can't read German), but this is a minor point I suppose).
