Name[edit]

Its definitely Point Danger - not Point Dangerous. I don't know how to change this back though. 58.110.45.142 00:17, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Point Danger (Queensland/NSW Border)?[edit]

I'm just wondering whether it might be more accurate for this article to be entitled something like Point Danger (Queensland/NSW Border)? Yes it is arguably in Tweed Heads, but from memory the border demarcation runs through the centre of the promontory, so we could also arguably say that Point Danger is in Coolangatta. We could easily create a new article under the name of Point Danger (Queensland/NSW Border) and then blank the current article entitled Point Danger (Tweed Heads), and put a link from this to the new article. More evidence to think upon - NSW Marine Rescue describes Point Danger as "sitting astride the QLD/NSW Border" (https://pointdanger.marinerescuensw.com.au/). I am leaning more towards the idea that the article should be entitled 'Point Danger (Queensland/NSW Border'. When I search in Wikipedia for Point Danger, the first three options are Australia

   Point Danger (Tweed Heads), on the border of New South Wales and Queensland
   Point Danger (Portland), south-western Victoria
   Point Danger (Torquay), south-western Victoria

The descriptions against each show their state location, so there seems little need to add that to the location within the parentheses CaptainCookFan (talk) 17:44, 29 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
