I think The Pirate's House is a notable part of Savannah History. It is one of, if not the oldest, buildings in Georgia. It has relevance to other Wikipedia articles such as the article Treasure Island, by Robert Luis Stevenson. The Pirate's House is mentioned several times throughout the novel. It is also the final destination of one of the books main characters, Captain Flint. The Pirate's House is a part of southeastern literacy and history.

I think you may be confused[edit]

This is a highly notable landmark in Savannah with no dearth of documentation to show as much. I think yousou may believe that it is nothing but a restaurant. As it happens, the restaurant occupies a building that goes back to the early history of the United States. The building in which the Pirate's House is located is, according to at least one source, the oldest building in Georgia. The restaurant itself enjoys some notability for having been repeatedly written up in travel and culinary publications. It is one of the five or so most popular tourist destinations in Savannah, Georgia.--Georgiasouthernlynn (talk) 21:11, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Unencyclopedic[edit]

This is a blatantly unencyclopedic article. It is a piece of advertising masquerading as an encyclopedia article. The rôle of Wikipedia should be to convey facts, not to promote particular businesses.RandomCritic (talk) 19:36, 12 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
