Notability question[edit]

Is this really notable enough for Wikipedia, or is the existing Wiktionary definition sufficient? Guy Macon (talk) 08:46, 5 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please leave it in, I find the term good enough to make people interested enough in the matter. It has been linked to the microbial fuel cell. People will take it up eventually — Preceding unsigned comment added by 182.160.108.52 (talk) 11:26, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Too technical for most readers to understand?[edit]

This page has been tagged as being too technical for most readers to understand since September of 2008, but it does not seem too technical to me. Unless someone objects, I am going to wait seven days and then remove the tag. Guy Macon (talk) 21:59, 5 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I don´t know if "photofermentation" is a good term for describing the metabolism of photobacteria since it is not fitting with the classical concept of fermentation (organics as both electron donor and acceptor). The e- acceptor of the photobacteria metabolism is CO2. E- sink is H2 in excess of organics. None of them are organics. So, in my opinion, it cannot be considered as a fermentative process. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.147.77.13 (talk) 11:01, 31 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

perhaps we should focus on current innovation / applicability to attract wider audience Safors (talk) 00:35, 19 October 2018 (UTC) in considering the renewable energy relevance i drafted a list of some helpful journal reviews.[reply]
