COI tag[edit]

I have added a COI tag since the article, created by a COI editor, heavily relies on sources closely affiliated with the subject and needs to be thoroughly reviewed for notability and verifiability by an uninvolved editor. Rentier (talk) 19:35, 10 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I translated the German article to the best of my abilities. The original article and its notability has been verified some time ago in the german namespace and I thought it would be a useful addition to read it in English. Further advice on how to improve the article is greatly appreciated. Regentaucher (talk) 09:32, 12 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Regentaucher: The biggest issue is an excessive reliance on primary sources, see WP:PRIMARYCARE. The other issues include:
  • excessive and possibly indiscriminate list of "selected" works
  • excessive number of external links, see WP:EXTERNAL
I have removed the notability tag since there seems to have been sufficient coverage. Rentier (talk) 23:03, 12 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Number of external links[edit]

To reduce the amount of external links I suggest to clean up the section "Works" a little. There are three links that lead to websites of German Magazines which wrote about the works of the artist. Since the notability tag was removed and not everyone speaks German, this might be a place to start. Regentaucher (talk) 10:16, 14 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The external links in references are fine. It's the external links section that I wanted to be cleaned up. The article is in a much better shape now. Still not sure about the lists of exhibitions - whether it's appropriate to include items that have a primary source only. I don't have enough expertise in this area of Wikipedia to tell. I have asked for help at Wikipedia:Editor_assistance/Requests#Embedded_lists_of_works_-_sourcing_standards. Rentier (talk) 19:24, 15 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
