Confused naval service[edit]

Brady's naval service is a bit confused, as I explained in the article. Was he a graduate or not? I don't think so. Furthermore, I do not think he was an alumnus, either. I doubt he ever saw Annapolis, and possibly Philadelphia either. He had two voyages as a midshipman. This question will have to be settled by someone finding a solid, detailed source, which I have not been able to do. So, I'm not billing him as a USNA grad or alumnus.Botteville (talk) 10:41, 21 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
