Removal of death info[edit]

@Nikkimaria: When there is no obituary and sources like FindAGrave provide death and burial information, it should be allowed with; or with the tag better source is needed. The info and citation should not be removed. @Greghenderson2006 Greg Henderson (talk) 02:33, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It's not a reliable source - see its entry at WP:RSP. Nikkimaria (talk) 02:35, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please note the following exception: “Links to Find a Grave may sometimes be included in the external links section of articles, when the site offers valuable additional content, such as images not permitted for use on Wikipedia“. removed. @Greghenderson2006 Greg Henderson (talk) 02:50, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That exception is for use in External links rather than as a source, and an image of the subject is already included. Nikkimaria (talk) 02:57, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Would you have any objections if I include FAG as an external link? @Greghenderson2006
Greg Henderson (talk) 03:32, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes - it fails WP:ELNO#1. Nikkimaria (talk) 03:57, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
FAG provides unique info on burial that is not in the article. To you previous comment, the exception is "when the site offers valuable additional content, such as". In this case it does. (talk) 04:49, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't provide info that shouldn't be in the article (ELNO#1), but is at the moment unverifiable research (ELNO#2). Nikkimaria (talk) 04:01, 30 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
