Tournament House & Float photo[edit]

  • Old black and white picture of the Wrigley Mansion (1959) doesn't belong in the article on the organization of the Tournament of Roses. It belongs in the article on Pasadena (which has been posted) and the article about Wrigley Mansion or an article on old homes. Saltysailor's photo of today's Tournament House belongs with this article, for it shows the monument sign of the Tournament and the structure. This article is not about the history of homes on S. Orange Grove Blvd. Parade and floats are the main business of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses, on which we know something of since both Saltysailor and I are members. Um, this is the article about the Pasadena Wrigley Mansion (the only other Wrigley Mansion article is for the one in Phoenix). Perhaps we need a separate section, but let's not forget, you don't own the article... And the float foto is out-of-place (and not very good). • This is the article about the Pasadena Tournament of Roses' Tournament House, an office building and not a residence any more. It is the formerly Wrigley Mansion. Various office additions have been made to the building over the years. Mr. and Mrs. Wrigley died more than 50 years ago. Don't recall if any picture of them in the current office building. Don't forget, ownership applies to you too. Happy New Year from Tournament House in Pasadena. We have tons of photos to choose. Ucla90024 (talk) 05:19, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It seems an odd (non) tribute to the family who gave your organization a multi-million dollar property, but so be it. Pete Tillman (talk) 19:50, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
