Mega Drive Version?[edit]

Someone has put the MD version was released by Culture Brain, but I can't find any evidence of this fact. No videos on YouTube, No box Art on Google Images, there is nothing about it at all. --Guru Larry (talk) 06:12, 15 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

SNES?[edit]

This game WAS released for the TG 16 in the U.S.

But was it really released for the SNES? I can't find anything about a SNES version.

Extreme Vandalism[edit]

I apologize for the massive edit I made earlier to the Parasol Stars article. I'm not entirely certain that everything I removed was incorrect. However, after doing a little research, I found that the entire trivia section, as well as the dubious distributor info, was attributable to a known vandal. I'm familiar with this person's handywork. Last year, I fought very hardly to keep the Working Designs article clean from this person's lies. His pattern of vandalism was easily detectable here, but unfortunately, it seems to have gone unnoticed, largely due to the obscurity of this particular game.

I deleted the entire trivia section on the assumption that if any of the information I deleted was correct, it would return to the article in time. The bulk of this information regarded alleged differences between each of the ports.

However, I found it extremely difficult to separate fact from fiction. There were several claims regarding the port differences, some of which were plausible while others were obviously wrong. (i.e. Mario BGMs in the PC port.) In one example, it was claimed by the vandal that the Commodore 64 source code was lost in a drunken tirade between the programmer and his estranged wife. Other sources I found, on the other hand, claim that he was robbed, but I found the source for this claim equally as dubious. Whatever the case, it is known that a Commodore 64 port was canceled, and so that's the information that I chose to leave in the article.

Again, I apologize if any of the information I deleted was correct, but as truth was woven seamlessly with lies, it seemed more efficient to simply purge all extraneous data until someone with better knowledge of the individual ports can come along and provide accurate information.

It's all right, the massive amounts of misinformation that vandal IP added has twisted and made this article all but valid anymore. An entire rebuilding of the article from scratch would be a good idea. Also, said vandal IP has been blocked for 6 months as per the talk page of said IP. LanceHeart 18:11, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Parasolstars box.jpg[edit]

Image:Parasolstars box.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:19, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

File:Parasolstars box.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion[edit]

An image used in this article, File:Parasolstars box.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion for the following reason: Wikipedia files with no non-free use rationale as of 3 December 2011

What should I do?

Don't panic; you should have time to contest the deletion (although please review deletion guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to provide a fair use rationale
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale, then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Deletion Review
