I would prefer to say that pantos are normally performed in late december, january and early february, this however is on anacdotal evidience. Discuss if you don't mind. 17:30, 28 January 2006 (UTC)

Merge

It seems to me that The British Pantomime should just be redirected here. If someone who is familiar with the topic just take a look to see if anything that is in that article is missing here, then that would be great. -- Jeff3000 03:02, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

Let's go further

'The British Pantomime' should definitely be merged into 'Pantomime (theatre)'.

Then 'Pantomime' should be moved to 'Pantomime (disambiguation)', so that 'Pantomime (theatre)' can be moved back to 'Pantomime'.

The present page, 'Mime', should be moved to 'Mime (disambiguation)', so that 'Mime artist' can be moved to 'Mime'.

I would even suggest merging these new disambiguation pages so that 'Pantomime (disambiguation)' would redirect to 'Mime (disambiguation)'. The page 'Mime and Pantomime' would also redirect to 'Mime (disambiguation)'.

Be aware that the word "pantomime" has different meanings in British and American English. The current usage of pantomime as a disambiguation page resolves this difficulty, and changing it would only cause difficulty. -Stellmach 22:09, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

Why this isn't a good article

There isn't a definition. You should define what it is (or can be) then talk about it's origins and where it is done.
