First version[edit]

A life performance could recently be heard on the ORF (Motetten von Anton Bruckner, Stiftskirche des Klosters Neustift in Vahrn, Südtirol, 29-08-2014). --Réginald alias Meneerke bloem (To reply) 13:35, 15 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

PS: At the beginning of the concert the 1835 version was sung, and near the end the 1891 version was then sung. Very nice!
This beautiful concert contained, i.a., also the Asperges me, WAB 4, Dir, Herr, dir will ich mich ergeben, In jener letzten der Nächte, the Two Totenlieder (Bruckner) and the Salvum fac populum tuum, WAB 40. For unexplained reason, three of the motets have not been issued in the later issued CD : the 1846 version of the Tantum ergo, WAB 42, the 3rd setting of Iam lucis orto sidere, WAB 18 and the 1891 version of the Pagelingua. --Réginald alias Meneerke bloem (To reply) 19:22, 14 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
