June 2006[edit]

I find that portions of it are valid for criticisms. Most noteably:

  • The Ian Zeiring Camaro Build.
  • The East Coast build reluctance.

So, i'm reverting them back in. And sign your comments please. --293.xx.xxx.xx 06:03, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In 2006 they built up a 56 Ford School Bus for John Force - the year, his team won the NHRA for the 14th timeCWeitzer (talk) 06:07, 21 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

weasely[edit]

I've fixed several grammar and spelling problems. I've also tagged a few sections as "cite needed" because they're weasel words. "received some backlash" doesn't explain exactly what happened; "Some fans have criticized" doesn't tell us how many, or how unpopular, the change was. "Reportedly there are no plans" sounds official, but unless we know who reported the lack of plans, we don't know if we should believe it or not. -- Mikeblas 22:30, 4 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AJ's role/participation[edit]

If the article mentions that AJ does not usually take part in the building of the car, and goes on to point out that she tore out a windshield with a sledgehammer, then it might as well also state that she was the lead designer in one of the builds (a 1963 Mercury Comet convertible)

It said Courtney tour out a windshield with a sledgehammer which she did. And AJ didnt really design a car she basically did what Chip told her to and followed chips design....CROSSMAN555 (talk) 05:40, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Confusion[edit]

Did the show end this year or last year? Leodmacleod (talk) 15:41, 5 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

i love your show very much. but i do not watch the shows were you fix up cars for movie stars and their friends, or famous race car people , or people with almost new cars. your show is the best when you take a car that has been in someones family for a long time or a person that loves a car but cant find the money to fix it up . those shows are heartfelt , the kind of shows people love to watch.i dont know where you do all your shows from , but you should travel around the country, and let everyone in the u.s. feel they could be a part of you show.please stay on the air
from car lovers everywhere thanks james —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.228.177.99 (talkcontribs) 14:08, 13 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Presenters[edit]

I changed Presented by into

Presented by Chris Jacobs Courtney Hansen Adrienne Janic

In the re-runs of Overhaulin here in Sweden I have seen Courtney Hansen every day for a month now. Only yesterday I came to think of "Why is Courtney Hansen's initials AJ?" So I looked it up and realized that they are two different women. But they are both remarkable, Courtney Hansen because she is a real car girl, AJ because she was in the show for more years.Chris Jacobs should be at the top of the presenters list because he was present in all episodes.Roger491127 (talk) 13:23, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Overhaul my Grandson's 1970 Ford Torino[edit]

My Grandson Anthony Cantin is a sixteen year old who bought this 1970 Torino some 4 years ago and because of all his school, business, and social activities has been unable to get this baby on the road! He is in all the school plays, and participates in band, he has a girlfriend. He enjoys overhaulin older lawnmowers for off road tournaments throughout the US, and he owns a 6 year old A&N Landscaping business that he built up from a single John Deer Tractor to a 2 person business with 2 zero turn mowers, smaller hand held mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc. servicing 10 businesses and homeowners in his area! This leaves him no time for the Torino. He definitely needs your help!!! 73.119.182.31 (talk) 18:59, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
