Note on the Pronunciation of Ossian[edit]

The town's name is commonly pronounced "osh-in" by residents, the first syllable rhymes with "posh". This information is based on personal visits to the town, and is not in the main article because of WP:OR. Billwhittaker (talk) 15:54, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
