Who the hell wrote this? Ordinary and extraordinary care are legal ideas relating to torts and negligence... what on earth does it have to do with biothetics and Catholicism? Strike this page! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.120.255.139 (talk) 04:03, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New citations, more work needed[edit]

Greetings Wikipedians! I have endeavored to improve the article by adding a section about secular views and a citation from a secular source. But the comment (above about torts and negligence) makes a good point. That is not my area of expertise but I will try to make a start on the legal aspect. One might ask why I bother to do this. I wonder myself sometimes, and after some groping, I believe I've arrived at an answer: it's interesting, I enjoy the research and writing process...and I don't have anything else to do. Looks like the simplest fix is to add a hatnote directing the reader to other meanings, including tort law. This I have done with today's edits. BuzzWeiser196 (talk) 11:24, 11 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Today's "wordsmithing" edit is mine; I forgot to log in. BuzzWeiser196 (talk) 12:13, 11 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
