Fair use rationale for Image:Orbital Green Album.jpg[edit]

Image:Orbital Green Album.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Samples[edit]

I've just watched Louis Malle's 'Black Moon' (1975). There are sounds in it which seem very much like the electronic warbling which fades out 'Belfast'. Can anyone point to any reliable citations for this, or indeed any other source material used on this album? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bristle-krs (talkcontribs) 19:38, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Album Name[edit]

Clearly, in the middle of the album's cover, it reads letters "CD". Could that actually be the name of this album? Has any authority confirmed that Orbital has two nameless albums, or that they should be called Orbital and Orbital 2. Or is it just fans' an established practice? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.128.185.204 (talk) 15:01, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

My recollection of what happened at the time is that it was supposed to be called "LP", "MC" or "CD" depending on the format, but it seems people were just confused by it and the notion was quietly dropped. The second album was always untitled, though. --Walnuts go kapow (talk) 22:59, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Green Album[edit]

I don't know why it's called a "green" album when it's clearly orange and yellow. The pizza is aggressive. (talk) 22:32, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I keep hearing this (mostly from owners of the US CD), but I can only respond that the sleeve of my UK vinyl copy is definitely green. --Walnuts go kapow (talk) 22:55, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

According to the track order, mine is the US version and its cover is also clearly green - though more like that fluorescent green colour you get from some highlighter pens. Therefore, I will remove the assertion that the colour is yellow. 87.112.227.33 (talk) 18:06, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
