Logo deletion

The logo was previously nominated for speedy deletion but there was no rationale as to what requirements the image was missing, nor was a discussion opened so I removed the nomination. Pop culture reference?

Does anyone here remember the Nickelodeon show Pete&Pete? I just noticed that a drink used as a plot device in an episode or two, the Orange Lazarus, was probably an allusion to this drink(or smoothie shop?). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.84.29.236 (talk) 23:35, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Family Guy - At the table, they mention something about something that's at the mall, and Chris says, "They also have an Orange Julius." I thought it was hilarious at the time, but, considering the nature of family guy, I can't really remember the context. If anyone knows more, it might be a good idea to include it. 64.235.140.170 (talk) 20:10, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

In Simon (1980 film), Alan Arkin's title character demands "And the white powder, the stuff they put in an Orange Julius that makes it so delicious, what is it? I WANT IT!" RossPatterson (talk) 00:00, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

I'm old enough to remember the Orange Julius 'restaurant' (because they also served hot dogs) on 72nd St. in Manhattan. I also remember the "white powder" that went into each Julius. I don't know if it was flavoring, a thickener or maybe an emulsifier. I also don't remember any egg in it. Wasn't it originally opened to compete with Nedick's?Dcrasno (talk) 22:45, 10 August 2013 (UTC)

Slap Bet" episode of How I Met Your Mother, Robin references "living on" Orange Julius and Wetzel's Pretzels while touring Canada as a teen-aged Canadian pop star. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.104.159.207 (talk) 02:55, 2 December 2010 (UTC)

And Modest Mouse's track "Teeth Like God's Shoeshine" has the line "let's all have another Orange Julius". I can't remember if Wikipedia is still down generally with these pop culture references in articles. - Phorque (talk) 14:34, 7 June 2013 (UTC)

Image problem

In both IE and Fx, the image obscures the line It has been a popular fruit drink for nearly eighty years. PrometheusX303 01:32, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

Johnson?

This statement from the entry needs a reference.

Orange Julius' are also referred to as Orange Johnson's in the Southeast, specifically Tennessee.

Otherwise, it should be deleted.

Shower stall for "pigeons"

As a reaction to the accusation that eggs were not clean, Freed created a shower stall for pigeons to show that birds could indeed clean themselves.
