The war history

There are many points which are true. Readers are more interested to know what actually happened.It says only how,where and when. This is ok. Please protect this page.

Many people want to buy their name by exploiting wikipedia that has to stopped. I appreciate Admin Fut.Perf. at Sunshine for his brilliant actions. Many people can demand that they were involved in this war but 40 years before what happened we only know through authentic sources and book references.

I thank Fut.Perf. at Sunshine once again.

Current View:

So far I have consulted with many books,journals and newspaper on The operation Jackpot and my finding are as follows:

a)The operation Jackpot is not only a Bangladesh Liberation war Operation,there are many operations which

were executed in USA in the same name.

b)Bangladesh Naval Commando operation on 15th August,1971 is one of the above said operation.

c)The four ports namely Chittagong,Mongla,Narayanganj and Chandpur were not operated once.There were several operations

in those port during Liberation war of Bangladesh.One of these operation is Operation Jackpot

d)In each operation,operation commander of a port was not same person.The ports were not having a permanent commander for whole Liberation war of Bangladesh rather Operations commanders were temporarily selected for a particular operation.

e)That is why it is not obvious to name the commanders of first operation in Wikipedia.First operation which was conducted on 15th August 1971 is well known to Bangladesh liberation war history.

f)There are many news on Operation Jackpot in Internet among them Indian Defence Forum(http://defenceforumindia.com/operation-jackpot-1-538) ,Pakistan Deference Forum(http://www.defence.pk/forums/military-history-strategy/18158-bangladesh-naval-commando-operations-1971-war-operation-jackpot-2.html) have special coverage on Operation Jackpot but Bangladesh Defense has no such site where one can read about the Operation Jackpot.

g)There are similar Operations news in search engines of Google and Yahoo etc.These are North Carolina Drug Operation(O JP)New york OJP etc.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Jackpot_(drug_investigation)

h)That is why I appreciate Admin Fut.Perf. at Sunshine for his knowledge and his decision to delete the name of the commanders of O JP on 15th Aug.1971 from Wikipedia.I wish to present Fut.Perf. at Sunshine a Burn-star for his wonderful decision.--Flugalarm (talk) 23:53, 9 September 2012 (UTC)

The article OJP(Operation Jackpot)has to be protected right away to stop all kind of meaningless edits.The edit should be allowed to only registered user.

REMARKS On Operation Date:

I have studied the Operation details in many books i.e. Operation Jackpot of Sezan Mahmud etc and found the operation was on 15th August,1971.The date is further confirmed in Indian Defence Forum and Pakistan Defence Forum.--Flugalarm (talk) 22:17, 5 October 2012 (UTC)

SEVERAL FACTUAL MISTAKES IN OPERATION JACKPOT WIKIPEDIA

I have noticed several factual mistakes in Operation jackpot.on 15th August 1971,only 24 commandos could take part in Operation at Monglaport. These 24 commandos destroyed 6 ships.But in Wikipedia Article have other informations which has no authentic sources.Beside this the operation history could be read in India and Pakistan Defence Forum. The book of Sezan Mahmud OPERATION JACKPOT has also this information.I hope readers should read other articles in Internet on Operation Jackpot i.e.Jackpot Part 1 and 2 by Indian Defence forum. OPERATION JACKPOT

Currently I have found newspaper of Bangladesh of 1971.These says about Operation Jackpot that Mongla operation was done only through 24 commandos .The Operation Jackpot is published in Indian Defence Forum as part 1 and part 2.I should suggest the readers to read Operation Jackpot Part 1 and 2.Indian Armed Forces have operation details as the commandos were trained by Indian Navy,the Operation was planned by Indian Navy as well as Commandos were sent from India.Thats why we should belive the news of Indian Defence Forum. To find this just go to Internet write Operation Jackpot part 1 or part 2 the actual news will appear there. Reader should read those and compare the Wiki Article with other articles. Wiki articles strickly refelects the wishes of Admins who edit the article as their own wish.Even references like books,newspaper and TV Interview of reputed TV Broadcasting companies are ignored by few Admins.They have the summery power of blocking a member,which alllows them to create an article as their own wish.Many admins have some like minded Wiki member who give necessary support to their loving Admins. Its really unacceptasble.Wikipedia became currently victim of few Admins. However we have no other choice but to protest through writting.One day the power of blocking of Admins will be withdrawan,I am waiting for those days.Reader should protest against these Admins and report the matter to Wiki Admin Notice board as well as Wiki head office.
