Useful information[edit]

It looks like someone else was going to create this article back in August 2009. Here's their sandbox, if anyone is interested for more information. Gary King (talk) 20:07, 19 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

We need more people interested in this article, there is so much about OpenFeint The Phoenix Enforcer(talk) 04:31, 21 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, this article could definitely use the help. When adding information, though, please include inline citations so that the content is verifiable. Also, please copyedit as well before adding it; it makes my life easier, thanks! Gary King (talk) 05:08, 21 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

....what?[edit]

I've read every word of this article and yet I still have no idea what the hell it is. It doesn't say what it actually does - all it contains is a version history. What need was it developed to meet? How do I know if I'm using it? How do I install it? Why would anyone want to use it? What does it mean to develop (with? in? on? for?) it? Is it a server? An API? A framework? A plug-in? An app? A methodology? A protocol? A philosophy? A chunk of code? This article was really less than useful. It actually resembles a press release more than an encyclopaedic entry. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.209.118.30 (talk) 14:38, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Funny, it is many of those things. It is a server, an API, a framework, probably a protocol. It happens to also be the name of an app that provides access to the service. Tweisbach (talk) 15:52, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
