Age rating[edit]

Would be great to have age ratings of 1-2 sites as part of the Wiki entry for a movie. commonsensemedia says 7+ and chesapeakefamily says 10+ https://www.commonsensemedia.org/movie-reviews/onward

brothers[edit]

Just curious, has anyone seen a source definitively saying that Pratt and Holland are playing the two brothers? If so, I think that could be addedNaraht (talk) 15:20, 24 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Onward to be released in IMAX[edit]

Can we add the detail from the IMAX Instagram page that Onward will be an IMAX release: https://www.instagram.com/p/ByHMt8yHH8g/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.134.70.25 (talk) 11:53, 31 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ian's Full Name[edit]

Dan Scanlon revealed it on Twitter. [1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2604:3D08:B980:4B0:4C1A:7706:1BB1:248F (talk) 03:20, 3 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Mandy Patinkin and Emily Blunt[edit]

Someone keeps trying to add the names of Mandy Patinkin and Emily Blunt to the cast. They are not mentioned in the official website or the imdb cast list, or any other "controlled" source I can find. However, they are mentioned in two sources which happen to be wikis. I assume the person trying to add them here is trying to add them wherever he or she can. So don't be fooled. If it doesn't appear in a reputable source, it doesn't belong here. ubiquity (talk) 15:42, 11 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

John Ratzenberger[edit]

Uh...could someone find out if John Ratzenberger is voicing anyone in this film? I really want to know. Please. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:401:C401:9850:A88A:898B:4110:2041 (talk) 12:53, 12 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ratzenberger voices a park maintenance worker who has a run-in with Barley near the end of the film 157.131.206.17 (talk) 00:49, 28 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Three Cops.[edit]

Maybe I'm not seeing everything in the tweet, but the tweet doesn't appear to include "races" for the Cops and I don't see how individual voice actors are connected to specific cops.Naraht (talk) 21:09, 16 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Plot[edit]

Can you remove the plot until it actually comes out in theaters because right now it was only shown in film festivals. 209.237.105.108 (talk) 17:46, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I restored the "Premise" section per WP:FILMPLOT, "Secondary sources must be used for all other cases, such as upcoming films (including those that had sneak previews and only played at film festivals) and lost films, as these would not be considered generally available or verifiable." Pinging Wubzy to convey this guideline. Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 19:24, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks I have been really trying to avoid spoilers on Wikipedia for films I want to see and I remembered that the plot was also reverted on Sonic the Hedgehog (film) because the film was not released in theaters yet in any major countries. Luckily I did not read anything from the plot so hopefully I can watch the film without having it spoiled. 71.34.25.253 (talk) 23:03, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Bomb[edit]

is it too early too call it a bomb? Fanoflionking 16:46, 9 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It is far too early, it is effected by events unrelated to the merits of the film, and calling it a "Bomb" is an WP:OR editor opinion unless multiple reliable sources support that conclusion and call it that. Geraldo Perez (talk) 17:24, 9 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, it’s too early to get into bomb territory. It’s been out three days. Sometimes it’s clear after opening weekend that a film will lose money (like Call of the Wild), but that doesn’t seem to be the case here. I haven’t seen any (at least official publication) sites using the term bomb or reporting projected losses, most are saying it’s just disappointing or low. But kids films (especially Pixar) tend to have legs, so it could end up being fine. Definitely need to sit on this one a few weeks. TropicAces (talk) 20:14, 9 March 2020 (UTC)tropicAces[reply]

DYK question[edit]

Pinging TropicAces but also asking editors involved here: would anyone mind if I nominated this article for DYK? The hook would probably focus on how it topped the BO but was still one of Pixar's lowest grossing films over this weekend. Kingsif (talk) 19:56, 9 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Onward (film)[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Onward (film)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "btva":

  • From Grey DeLisle filmography: "Behind The Voice Actors – Grey DeLisle". Behind The Voice Actors. Retrieved February 27, 2018.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 21:57, 17 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Father’s cause of death[edit]

Isn’t it true that the brother’s father died from illness rather than a car accident? They explicitly mention that he was sick before he died in the film. 2600:1700:6062:6000:91C8:5FD2:9C87:D8FC (talk) 07:01, 7 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
