Ace?[edit]

I’ve seen reports that he was a flying ace. If so, should we add that to the article? Blackout8771 (talk) 03:37, 2 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Reportedly scored seven kills against Russian aircraft; if true, this would make him the first fighter ace since the Vietnam War, so definitely notable and worth including. 2Q (talk) 22:32, 4 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ghost of Kyiv[edit]

Previous section on Ace. The way I have seen it - it is possible he is the "Ghost of Kyiv" . Were it ever proved via a reliable souce - the two articles should be merged. Wfoj3 (talk) 19:15, 6 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Article is new, long enough, sourced throughout. I have to AGF on the Ukrainian and Russian. Not sure if there are other languages there too, because not all of the references are marked by language. It's been on ITN before but as a "Recent Death", not a blurb, so it's still eligible for DYK. QPQ is done. The picture is public domain. I personally don't see a reason this can't run while the invasion continues as it's neutral information. That said, Slava Ukraini. – Muboshgu (talk) 04:57, 9 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
