Giants in the Earth[edit]

Two questions:

Article does not detail when the book was written, translated or published, information which should be readily available.
Not quite sure how he wrote the book in a house in South Dakota while he was a professor in Northfield Minnesota. Sabbatical?

Honors and awards?[edit]

What honors or awards did Rolvaag receive? I see that he was appointed Knight of the Order of St Olav by King Haakon VII in 1926. Did he receive any other awards or honors? Academic or literary honors? Did his writings receive any awards? Pete unseth (talk) 15:04, 28 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
