General notes about the size of this list[edit]

This list was created on on August 25, 2005. Currently, there are 366 entries on this list, and the article size is 107,814 bytes. That's pretty huge, and some browsers probably can't open it. Not all the entries have sources, so citations would make it even larger. It appears on the external link Ohio Women's Hall of Fame there were no entries after 2011, and no entries at all for 1987, 2004, 2005, 2006. The size of this and future like lists is food for thought.— Maile (talk) 14:34, 14 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

All links broken[edit]

The Ohio DFJS appears to have stopped hosting any information about the Hall of Fame program, which ended in 2011. All of the 200+ citations here now link to a page that reads:

The Ohio Women's Hall of Fame program was a program run by the State of Ohio from 1978 to 2011. The program is no longer active, but the Ohioana Library holds the physical archives of the Women's Hall of Fame. Please contact Ohioana for more information.

I have searched around the Ohioana Library website but cannot find anything that even mentions the Hall of Fame, let alone the profiles that were linked here. I'm not sure what should be done about this. Thoughts? --Nonmodernist (talk) 13:22, 3 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed @Nonmodernist: Yeah, Ohio Women's Hall of Fame no longer is active. However, I ran the nifty tool provided by our Toolslab, and it provided the archived links. To run the tool, go to any Page/History. At the top of the page "External tools", you will see "Fix Dead Links". You need to log in to Tools. Click the little box that says " Add archives to all non-dead references (Optional)". Then click the "Analyze" button. When it's finished running, it gives you stats (right-hand side on my computer) of how many dead links it fixed. — Maile (talk) 15:19, 3 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
