Notes toward starting this[edit]

Bucharest's Odeon is probably the most notable theatre of the name (without the accent), so it probably deserves this article name. There is a disambig at Odeon, and Paris's Odéon (not much of an article) is quite notable.

The Bucharest theater has a fairly good web site http://www.teatrul-odeon.ro, which may be useful in writing the article. - Jmabel | Talk 23:16, 4 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I moved the Bucharest one to "Odeon Theatre (Bucharest)". According to the Bucharest one's article, the place has been called this only since 1991 or so. I don't think it has world-wide wp:PRIMARYUSAGE status; there are many Odeon theatres and i think no single one is primary. --doncram (talk) 18:00, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"tavan glisant"[edit]

The theatre's web site describes it as "singura [teatru] din Europa cu tavan glisant." Do I understand this correctly to mean that in some sense the ceiling "slides"? What exactly does this mean? - Jmabel | Talk 06:04, 26 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
