GA Review[edit]

  • "The title track of the single was produced by Hugh Jones, who had produced the band's second album" - can you use a word other than produce the second time around?
It's quite a specific word when used to refer to a record producer. I don't think there is a suitable alternative.--JD554 (talk) 13:31, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Also that month, the band was filmed by RPM Productions for the Channel 4 documentary series Play at Home." - please don't start a sentence with "also"
There are no grammar rules that prevent this.--JD554 (talk) 13:31, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Quite a few en dashes (–) that should be em dashes (—); check WP:DASH
WP:DASH says: Spaced en dashes – such as here – can be used instead of unspaced em dashes in all of the ways discussed above. Spaced en dashes are used by several major publishers, to the complete exclusion of em dashes. One style should be used consistently in an article.--JD554 (talk) 13:31, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Finishing 1983 Echo & the Bunnymen recorded..." - Finishing 1983? Is that referring to Late 1983 or something like that?
Changed to "At the end of 1983..."--JD554 (talk) 13:31, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • "just joshing and I said 'Oh, it's the greatest album ever made.'" - is joshing a typo or a word I'm not familiar with?
It's a direct quote and means "to tease".
  • Is it possible to get some non-NME sources for the Ocean Rain tour section, just for variety?
None that I can find that cover the detail needed. They are are reliable source.--JD554 (talk) 13:31, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Article is generally quite good; these are just minor notes. Ping me when done, please. Cheers, —Giggy 12:50, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Passed as the prose is generally quite good and all issues are resolved. —Giggy 05:02, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
