Categorization as "Canadian"[edit]

I'm removing all categories that refer to Bishop Budka as a "Canadian" until I see evidence of his citizenship or other "Canadian" feature. Just because he served in Canada and was important in Canadian history doesn't make him a Canadian. --Kevlar (talkcontribs) 23:43, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have evidence that he remained a Canadian citizen and British subject until his death in 1949. The evidence comes from his file in Citizenship and Immigration Canada. Correspondence from the The Canadian Secretariat of State (specially Ephraim Coleman) confirms this. The evidence will be published in my upcoming biography of Budka in early 2013. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Athanasius McVay (talkcontribs) 22:45, 30 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
