Norman Malcolm's Philosophy of Mind was one of my favorite courses at Cornell...but I took it in 1963 and I believe he continued there for several more years (article 1947-1958)

the dates in the first line do not make sense. he served in the navy from 1942-1945, but earned a harvard doctorate and joined the princeton faculty in 1940?


His Memory and Mind is excellent.
