Notability[edit]

Norberto Odebrecht surely meets the notoriety factor to be in Wikipedia. He is the founder of the most important construction company in Brazil. Brazil is one of the largest ten economies and a country with no significant defense budget - what makes construction companies larger players in the economy than they are in US, for example. He was probably the most important indiviual in that sector in Brazil throughout the 20th century. Almost 90 years old, he remains an important figure and a corporate leader.
