Composition section[edit]

stopped by, and wondering why is the last line (or even the entire paragraph) tagged as citation needed? if a song is in a key and the music is sheet music is available, is there reason for dissent? does listening to the song not predicate the intro/outro drums, dominance of the piano musically? Yeah, I just signed up to Wikipedia to basically say the same thing (I didn't see the above post.) Why would you need references? Just listen to the song. I could understand a citation if it stated that Eb is a very comfortable key for a pianist. Or that a lot of Mozart's Masonic music is written in the key of Eb, but it doesn't. We need references because information in Wikipedia articles must be verifiable, that is, published in reliable sources. Ideally, this section would cite references such as official sheet music, or professional reviews and interviews with Carlton that discuss technical aspects of the song's composition. Citing one's own expert knowledge, however accurate, could be construed as original research unless reliable secondary sources are provided. --Muchness (talk) 17:25, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

i've removed the citation needed from this section, as it appears to be applicable to an earlier reference to the piano line being homage to coldplay. Impasse 06:07, 11 December 2007 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Impasse (talkcontribs)

Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page[edit]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.
