PROD[edit]

Have removed PROD, although I agree the entry still needs references, which may be difficult from on-line sources.
There are no specific notability requirements for record labels.
Record companies are not like Widgets, where the manufacturer receives the credit and coverage for producing a successful item.
Credit, and press coverage, for a successful record is generally attributed to the artist, with a fleeting mention of who the record company, songwriter or producer is, albeit that they are very important in the process, and IMHO, under-represented in WP.

I am not arguing for the inclusion of every record label, as many bands form their own, and some labels only have 3 or 4 artists.
A band needs to issue two albums on a major label to be Notable in WP terms.
If a record company issues records by several artists, several of which are "Notable" enough to have their own WP entries (in this instance at least 4 "Notable" artists), that seems a simple reversal of the same rule.
