Possible Nightmare Circus info in Next Generation (NextGen) magazine (Oct 1995)[edit]

According to a post in rec.games.video.sega, there was an article about Nightmare Circus in the Next Generation (later NextGen) magazine, likely the October 1995 issue. This may be of interest when looking for information on the game from reliable sources. --Elegie (talk) 09:36, 27 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Was there a comic tie-in for the game?[edit]

It would be interesting to look into whether there were any comics or comic books that were a tie-in for the game. In particular, the Comic Values Annual 2008 guide from Alex Malloy/Krause Publications mentions what may be two "Nightmare Circus" comics (the items are each specified as being a "video-game tie-in") on page 295; each item appears to have a value of US$2.50. Also, the credits for Nightmare Circus include a "Comic Liaison" by the name of Jennifer Hunn. A Web search brings up a number of comics, including the "Tails" miniseries issue 1 and the "Princess Sally" no. 1 from Archie Comics, which, though not related to Nightmare Circus, have a note of thanks to Jennifer Hunn at Sega. If there actually was a tie-in featuring comics that were specifically related to Nightmare Circus, then it would probably be worth mentioning in the article. --Elegie (talk) 06:42, 7 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
