3rd paragraph in Economy

Basically this is some local complaining with non-quantifiable statements, some of them bordering ridiculousness. I was trying to help to look for citations but this paragraph provides no value to this entry and I'm inclined to remove it. Any objections just let me know and I'll dig harder for support but the language would need to be modified greatly. --Monstermike99 (talk) 20:54, 28 May 2014 (UTC)

I agree. I looked over a few well-written articles about Niagara Falls, NY's decline, such as this one and this one, and neither blames too many souvenir stands near the falls or the lack of cheap power (though cheap power absolutely attracted industry in the 1800s). Even if a source could be found, these reasons are likely insignificant. This whole section is very meaty, and it's obvious many editors have put a lot of effort into it. It's a scattered though, and might benefit from a more chronological structure. Magnolia677 (talk) 22:17, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
